Radon Mitigation
Radon Mitigation
A radon system isn’t one-size-fits-all. Every house pulls air differently, so the first step is figuring out where the system will actually work best. That usually means checking the foundation layout, finding the right spot for the suction point, and planning a route that looks clean on the outside of the house.
Once we know the layout, we install the piping, seal penetrations, and mount the fan where it will run quietly and stay out of the way. The goal is simple: get your radon levels down and keep them down without making the house look bad or creating future issues.
If your radon fan has gotten loud, stopped working, or the system isn’t pulling like it used to, a fan swap is usually all it needs. We replace the old fan with a new, properly-sized unit and check that the system is drawing the right pressure before we leave. Every replacement comes with our standard warranty for peace of mind.
Older radon systems can drift out of spec, develop air leaks, or simply fall short of current code requirements. We figure out what’s going on, fix the weak points, and update parts or routing where needed. Whether it’s poor suction, loose seals, outdated components, or a system that was never built correctly to begin with, we can bring it up to modern performance and standards.
